Steve Idelman
Chairman of the Board and CEO
Steve Idelman is a co-founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer of Solutionary, and has served in that capacity since 2000. Under his leadership, Solutionary has achieved "Visionary" status in Gartner's MSSP Magic Quadrant and was named a "Strong Performer" in Forrester's MSSP Wave. The company is known for its high service quality and best-of-breed, patented technology platform, ActiveGuard.
With more than 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and CEO, Steve brings practiced leadership skills and business management expertise to his role. Prior to co-founding Solutionary, he was an investor, board member and consultant with a number of Internet and technology companies. Steve also co-founded ITI Marketing Services, which provided managed marketing and information services to Fortune 500 clientele in data-intensive industries and grew to $150 million in annual revenue.
Mike Hrabik
Chief Technology Officer
Mike Hrabik, a founding partner and Chief Technology Officer of Solutionary, is the principal architect for Solutionary’s patented ActiveGuard® software and Security Operations Centers (SOCs). He is charged with establishing strategy and direction for the company’s IT functions, and is the corporate advocate for information security and business continuance best practices. He is also responsible for outlining the company’s technology vision including technological planning, strategic initiatives, development and future growth.
Mike has more than 25 years of high-level experience in technology services organizations, where diversity and complexity require the integration of people, process, and technology. Prior to joining Solutionary, Mike was a partner at ITI Marketing Services, Inc., where he served as director of systems and operations.
After his tenure at ITI, Mike served as the Vice President of technology for NetCount Price Waterhouse, LLC, a Los Angeles-based third-party web-measurement and analysis company. Following NetCount’s sale, Mike spent two years consulting with multiple companies in the Internet and wireless fields.
Mike is a member at large of the Omaha Chapter of the FBI's InfraGard program, regularly speaks at influential industry events and is frequently quoted in the media as a security expert. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Sheri Idelman
Vice Chair and Chief Operating Officer
Sheri Idelman has served as Solutionary’s Vice-Chairman of the Board and Chief Operating Officer since 2000 when she co-founded the company. Sheri oversees all SOC Operations, service delivery and quality assurance. With more than 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and COO, Sheri brings practiced leadership skills and business management expertise to her role.
Prior to co-founding Solutionary, she was an investor, board member, and consultant with a number of Internet and technology companies. Sheri also co-founded ITI Marketing Services, which provided managed marketing and information services to Fortune 500 clientele in data-intensive industries and grew to $150 million in annual revenue.
Don Gray
Chief Security Strategist
A veteran of technology applications development since 1991, Don Gray brings "in-the-trenches" information security experience to his role as Solutionary's Chief Security Strategist. In his role, Don leads the Solutionary Engineering and Research Team (SERT) and is directly involved with researching new threats and overall information security trends. Gray is regularly quoted in the media as an information security expert and is a frequent speaker at industry events including Gartner Security Summit, Forrester Security Forum, CSO Breakfast Club series and key channel partner events.
Don joined Solutionary through its acquisition of VigilantMinds, where he was a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, he was a technologist for companies like marchFIRST, Idea Integration and Mellon Bank. Don received a B.S. in Computer Based Systems Management from California University of Pennsylvania.
Chris Rehberg
Executive Vice President, Operations
Solutionary’s co-founder and Executive Vice President in charge of Operations, Chris Rehberg, relies on his 20+ years of experience in providing data intensive, secure, managed services for his role managing Solutionary’s 24 x 365 security operations centers (SOCs), information security engineering team and security consulting services groups. Under Chris’ management, Solutionary’s Operations departments deliver seamless and scalable service at an excellent quality level as acknowledged by clients and a variety of third- party awards.
Prior to joining Solutionary, Chris was responsible for 25,000 employees in a highly-distributed $200 million services operation spanning 90 centers in 14 states.
Don Collier
Senior Vice President, Field Sales Operations
Don Collier has served as Solutionary’s Senior Vice President of Field Sales since 2007. Don joined the Solutionary sales team in 2003, when he was hired to develop the Midwest/East and Southeast regions. During his time at Solutionary, Don has helped develop and hire individuals to run the sales engineering group, inside sales and the company’s channel endeavor. With more then 15 years of experience in selling, consulting, management and finance, Don brings a wealth of knowledge to the MSSP space. Prior to joining Solutionary, Don worked with such companies as VeriSign (Exault), ISS (Netrex) and Arthur Andersen. He has been involved in helping drive revenue in high intensity, extremely pressure-packed environments and was a major contributor in the sale of Exault to VeriSign in just 18 months. His unique blend of skill sets allows for maximum success as a sales leader.
Don received his B.S. in Finance from Wayne State University.
Mark Byars
Vice President, Finance & Accounting
Since early 2009, Mark Byars has served as Vice President of Finance & Accounting and Secretary and Treasurer for Solutionary. With broad experience in process improvement for service organization and financial management practices - including reporting, billing and treasury management - Mark delivers superior performance and value to Solutionary’s clients through his direction of the Finance, Accounting and Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Prior to joining the Solutionary team, Mark was a financial executive at West Corporation, Omnium Worldwide, Inc. and Sprint Corporation.
Mark earned his B.S. in Accounting, Finance and Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Carol Mueller
Vice President, Marketing
As Solutionary’s Vice President of Marketing, Carol Mueller is responsible for Solutionary's interactive marketing programs, analyst relations and client-facing initiatives. She came to Solutionary from Espiria, Inc., where she headed marketing and client relations from 1998 until Espiria's merge with Solutionary in 2006. Her previous experience includes corporate security and relations management for multiple lines of business at Wells Fargo Bank, along with more than a decade in information security. As a result, Carol has the solid foundation of knowledge necessary for directing Solutionary's numerous marketing initiatives in the managed security and compliance services space.
Carol, an original 1999 board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the FBI's InfraGard program, is also a contributing member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Advisory Committee. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Marketing and Speech Communication.
Pamela Fusco
Vice President, Industry Solutions
Pamela Fusco brings over 23 years of global Information Security and Risk Management expertise to her role as VP of Industry Solutions for Solutionary. Pamela’s prestigious background includes experience as a Chief Security Strategist and Chief Security Officer for Merck & Co., Inc., Digex Inc, MCI Security Solutions and Executive Vice President, Global Information Security at Citigroup, and Presidential White House Special Operations Staff. Additionally, Pamela serves as CFO of the ISSA International Board of Directors, is a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and Executive Advisory Board for the University of Advancing Technology.
Previous roles include founder of the Pharma industry’s SAFE Bio Pharma Inc., industry expert advisor for Securent, and intelligence analyst and information security lead for EDS where she initiated security operations for a worldwide government network security operations center. Prior to EDS, Pamela used her expertise as a cryptologist on supporting security proceedings for government, national intelligence, and SPECOPS (special operations).
Pamela is certified and accredited as a CISSP, CISM, CHS Level III, National Security Agency INFOSEC Assessment Methodology Auditor (AIM Auditor), National Cryptologic School Adjunct Faculty Certified Instructor (NSA/CSS/NCS). She holds an honorary Doctorate of Science in Technology, and is a facilitator and mentor for Carnegie Mellon University‘s Cylab and InfoWorld’s Monthly Technology Panel. Pamela is also a delegate for Policing Cyberspace International, Chinese Prosecutors Society, and the Presidential Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CCIP) International. A United States Navy veteran, Pamela has been bestowed with numerous honors and awards including a Presidential Citation.
